Farmhand French Style Farmhouse Ale There was a time in old world France when nearly every family farm had a brewery. A necessary part of farm life was to provide a ration of beer to laborers, as beer was safer to drink than the waterof the time. Farm Hand is our interpretation of what these rustic beers must have been like. It islight in body, mildly sweet andhas a slight cloudiness from theuse of simple un-malted grains similar to the period.
Characteristics: This beer is one of the owner's favorites. Inspired by a trip to France and a lengthy discussion about farmhouse ales (over a few too many farmhouse ales) with a French brewer from a small family run brewery.
Great with: Chicken, fish, pasta,

Triomphe Belgian Style India Pale Ale Triomphe is made with a classic Belgian style yeast strain that gives the complexity and slight sweetness you may expect from a Belgian style ale. The beer then reaches deeper providing a smack-down of American grown hops to turn the style on its head. It has a light caramel color, is strongly bitterwith a fruity citrus aroma.
Characteristics: This beer style is a nod to the American craft beer movement. Brewers from around the world have been inspired by Belgian beers for hundreds of years. This is the first time I am aware of that Belgian brewers have been inspired by what we are doing here in the US. This style uses classic Belgian techniques and then infuses it with American hops to give you a "best of both worlds" kind of scenario. Enjoy!
Great with: Spicy dishes (Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese), curries, crabcakes, pizza, burgers,

Solitude Abbey Style Ale Monks have been brewing beer in Belgium for centuries. Their beers have been some of the most sought after in the world. Solitude is made in the tradition of the famous brewing monks of the Abbeys of Belgium. This beer is deep mahogany in color, malt forward with hints of caramel, pear & raisin.
Rule 48 of St Benedict:
"for then are they monks in truth, if they live by the work of their hands
Characteristics: Often people ask what spices are in this beer. There are none. The spiciness comes from a special yeast that we use from an Abbey Brewery in Belgium. Our secret is that we do not rush this beer. We give it the time it needs to work its magic. You can not be in a rush to make great beer.
Great with: Grilled meats (charred flavors meld with the roastiness of the beer), hearty stews, yeasty breads, sausages mmmmmm
