Work at RAVE: Now Hiring Full Time Beer & Wine Account Representatives- WAYNE, OAKLAN

Rave Associates is a family owned wholesaler and distributor of quality wine, and beer to licensed accounts in Genesee, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Wastenaw & Wayne Counties.

We are located in Ann Arbor Michigan and currently have immediate openings for Full Time Beer & Wine Account Representatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Subject to experience, experience premiums available.

Schedule: 6 Day a week

Hours Per Week: 40+ hrs

Start Time: Varies by route

Responsibilities

  • Account Manager for every account listed under sales number

  • Physically call on each account (minimum 1x per month)

  • Build relationship with key personnel in each account

  • Meet/exceed sales goals set for assigned territory

  • Build account base and open new business

  • Problem solving (special deliveries, bad product replacement, solutions)

  • Place new products for distribution to achieve goals

  • Marketing of our products (Point of Sale materials)

  • Manage shelves and cold boxes in retail accounts

  • Manage account sales and inventories

  • Inventory and manage Rave Associates stock for orders

  • Sample our products to accounts where applicable with approval

  • Educate customers and staff on our products

  • Open New accounts in territory

  • Service Racks and Sold in Displays

  • Communicate to purchasing department on special needs for customers

  • Return of paperwork requested by management on TIME

  • Route Lists updated monthly

  • Vacation routes verified prior to actual vacation

  • Provide product information to your customers

  • Promotions at accounts where applicable

  • Report to all sales Meeting on TIME

  • Phone must be on by 8:00 am every morning and all voicemails need to be cleared daily by 6:00 pm

  • Increase Sales Annually

Abilities/Requirements

  • Be responsible, organized and punctual.

  • Must have a reliable car that can be used for travel to accounts within territory.

  • Sales experience in the beer/beverage industry preferred.

  • Be able to work Monday-Friday shift.

  • Friendly and professional when working with coworkers and customers.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and governmental regulations.

  • Flexibility with hours and availability may be required by route.

  • Detail oriented with daily paperwork.

  • Operate handheld device during course of delivery route.

  • Work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.

  • Beer/beverage industry interest/enthusiasm is a MUST.
