Stone Brewing Co. Most Arrogant Bar 2009
That time of the year is fast approaching where Stone Brewing Co. put our
retailers to the test to find out who really is the Most Arrogant Bar in the
US! The dates for this year's contest are November 7, 2009 - November 13,
2009. The
deadline to enter into the contest is November 6, 2009 at 11:59pm.
Starting at 12:00am on November 7th, each account needs to keep track of how
much Bastard beer they sell (anything with Bastard in the name counts - ABA,
Oaked ABA, Double Bastard, vintage Bastards).
Flying Dog - 2009 Great American Beer Festival's "Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year!" Sept 25, 2009 Denver, Colorado-At this years Great American Beer Festival, Flying Dog had one of it's best days in their 20 year existence. On Saturday, during the awards ceremony, Flying Dog got awarded gold medals for the Dogtoberfest Marzen, Vintage 2007 Horn Dog barley Wine and Gonzo Imperial Porter. They also took home a silver medal for their whisky-barrel-aged Gonzo Imperial Porter. Flying Dog was also awarded "Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year"! The "Mid-Sized brewery of the Year" is based on the number of medals and type of medals won during a specific year's GABF competition. There were 3,308 beers entered by 495 breweries, and Flying Dog came out on top. Rave Associates would like to congratulate Fyling Dog Brewery on this monumental achivement. |
