Rave Associates Welcomes Roar Brewing Co. to Its Portfolio of Craft Beer Brands

Ann Arbor, MI – Rave Associates, a leading importer and distributor of craft beer and fine wine, is proud to announce the addition of Roar Brewing Co., Detroit’s first Black-owned brewery, to its growing portfolio. This new partnership underscores Rave’s commitment to championing authentic, high-quality breweries that bring fresh stories and flavors to the Michigan craft beer landscape.

Roar Brewing Co. was founded by Evan Fay, a U.S. Air Force veteran, whose mission is to make craft beer more approachable and inclusive while celebrating Detroit’s rich cultural heritage and community spirit. The partnership carries a unique connection, as Rave Associates President Jim Warbritton, also a U.S. Army veteran, shares Fay’s commitment to service and craftsmanship.

Honey Oat Stout

5% ABV | 18 IBU

Brewed with Veteran-owned Heroes to Hives Honey, this dark, silky stout offers mild roasted coffee and cream flavors layered with chocolate and caramel notes. Smooth, balanced, and deeply satisfying.

Raspberry Wheat

5% ABV | 15 IBU message:

An American-style wheat ale infused with fresh raspberry. Light and crisp, with subtle malt character and bright fruit aroma. Amarillo and Cascade hops add a complex, fruity depth to this refreshing brew.

Ammo Pils (Pilsner)

6% ABV | 30 IBU

A bold yet classic pilsner brewed with wheat and a touch of Munich malt. Floral and herbal Czech and German hops deliver a balanced hoppiness. Bright, crisp, and clean, it’s a modern take on a timeless style.

Through this partnership, Rave Associates will support Roar Brewing’s growth by expanding retail and on-premise distribution across Southeastern Michigan, providing sales and marketing support, and helping the brand reach new consumers.

Roar Brewing Co. opened its taproom at 666 Selden Street in Detroit’s Cass Corridor, July 2025.
